Personal Entry(for me to remember what I did from May 07-August07)

I've been thinking about the commitments I made for this holiday.

1. Pharmacy Freshmen Orientation Committee (Treasurer)
2. Blastoff Camp Committee (Admin & Treasurer)
3. Vision Tea Committee (Admin, Treasurer and Publicity)

These few months have been really really enjoyable. I am really glad that I didn't work. I had the time to do what I really liked and enjoyed my time! =) I am thankful that my parents still gave me money when I wasn't working during the holidays. My mom actually discouraged me from working. She wanted me to enjoy my holidays before the hectic and crazy school term starts.

Vision Tea meeting in school in the morning, rushed to jas's place for mahjong after that. =)

Went to bendemeer road to pay for the postcards for blastoff! MY FIRST CAREGROUP MEETING! =) At bukit panjang. I am really really glad that rapheal drives! =) Blessed, blessed, blessed.

Vision Tea meeting at 9.30am at GC, which is a 10mins bus ride from buona vista mrt station. But the bus only comes once every half hour. Settling of the brochure for vision tea. Went to Techman with pf after that to get some books.

DG outing at 12.30pm at city hall. Went to Techman again.

Arrow service! =P The carnival was really cool with the arm wrestling, nail polish painting, hooking the fish, free food, ice cream, drinks, music and fun! =)

Reached school at 11.30am to print the brochures for Vision Tea. Met van at 2pm at tiong bahru, walked for like 1km to reach the place to collect the sample sizes for lab coats. Went back to school again to pass the lab coats to cy. Rushed to YIH to help out in matriculation for CCC. Had media minstry meeting at 5.30pm at munchie monkey. Went for dinner at 8.30pm with the science crusaders at holland v.

31/07/07
Reached school at 8am. Stood from 9am to 6pm with only one 1hr break. But it was really fun! To be one of the privileged few to be at the booth giving out the writing pad to the freshmen! =) I had loads of fun. Abby, seok ping and terrence were really really funny! =)

For the next few days,

Pharmacy O week dry run from 1pm to late at night.

Be in school at 8am again to help out in matriculation. Vision Tea meeting from 3-6pm. Rushing over to the rock for midweek bible study at 7.30pm! =)

Supposed to have OG outing (blastoff camp). But having meeting instead. Caregroup in the evening.

NCC's NUS Orientation. SHINING LIGHTS! =) I can't wait to get my tee shirt! =)

Church service!

and soon after, pharmacy O week. =P

I am praying that my body will not collapse from all the fatigue.

cold~

The weather is so cold right now that I refused to on the fan to cool down my laptop so that I can get some heat from it. =) Smart right~

I never remembered it being so cold in JULY before! JULY LEH! If you tell me December, I'll understand. BUT JULY??? T_T

It's so cold that I have to resort to wearing a jacket when I am at home. Outside, I'll just tahan and hope that the cold goes away. =(

I am really praying that all the raining will stop! SINGAPORE IS SUPPOSED TO BE SUNNY, BRIGHT AND HOT! Not raining cats and dogs..

I realised that this semester, I am really putting myself into His hands. I decided to serve in MM and to be a GIG leader. I've decided to go for CG, DG and LM. I really really need to learn how to devote my life into His hands. After seeing what He has done to me in Year1, I guess that I can only say that He is faithful and I am once again reminded of Matt 8:11.

"If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask Him!"

highlighted my hair. =)

I finally went to get some colour on my hair after like sooooo long. =P at least my hair is not so untidy now. =) Thanks neo mei! for the recommendation. Anyways, just wanna say that my hair was highlighted by xiao hui. She is currently working on her models at Toni&Guy at the Heerens! =) And she is still looking for models! If you want to get yr hair dyed, rebonded or permed for free, please do sms me and I can give you her number! She is really really nice and talented! =) Don't worry about the quality yeah. Cause she has already graduated from their academy and is currently on fast track now. =)

Highlighting my hair was a pretty good option since I was afraid that if the hair started growing back, the dyed hair would make it look really messy. =) But the process of highlight my hair was really tedious. I had to sit there for like 3 hours!!! I walked into the saloon at 4.30pm and left only at like 7.30pm! T_T

But it was good. I kinda like my hair now!

That's how it looks like from the top. I kinda like how the brown blends in with the black. But you can't really see the colour from the ends of my hair cause there are too little hair there to show that there are highlights.

At the end of 2hrs of sitting down at the saloon, this was what happened to me.

Don't laugh ok. One day when you decide to highlight your hair, it will become like this too!!! =P

two dozens of donuts. =)

Reached Tampines MRT station. Took a train to City hall.

Reached the queue at Donut's Factory.
The queue was quite long by the time we reached. There was 2 blocks of queue. Jas and I were at the end of block 2 of queues. D.F. is located at where the brown donut is! =) The red blocks represent the blocks of queue.

At around 12, the queue started to move.

At 1pm, Jas and I were at the front of the the queue at block 1. The queuing system works in a way that when you see someone move away from the short queue at the shop, you walk over and join the short queue at the shop. I WAS LIKE SUPER EXCITED!!!!!! =) Then, we saw this group of young girls that tried to CUT OUR QUEUE BY JUST QUEUING UP AT THE SHORT QUEUE AT THE SHOP!!!!! ARE THEY LIKE BLIND OR WHAT??? CUT OUR QUEUE LEH!!!! Luckily, the couple in front of us(of which the guy reminded me of a friend) managed to tell them that the queue is OVER there. The girls were super embarrassed and walked away.

Not long after, this middle-aged woman wearing a green t-shirt top and jeans came along and CUT OUR QUEUE AGAIN!!!! Jas and I decided to walk up the short queue at the same time too(coincidentally) and then I saw it all.

The guy infront of us told her that the queue is OVER THERE.

GUESS WHAT SHE DID,

SHE TURNED AROUND, SAW THE QUEUE AND LOOKED BACK AT HIM IN DISBELIEF LIKE HE WAS FOOLING HER!!!!!

THAT WAS IT MAN!!! I WAS LIKE SUPER PISSED. Then Jas and I pointed to the queue over there and told her that the QUEUE IS OVER THERE! I EMPHASIZED ON THE WORDS OVER THERE REALLY LOUDLY LAH!

BLIND ONE LEH SOME PEOPLE! WE QUEUE FOR TWO HOURS LE!!! THINK WE DON'T KNOW WHO IS IN FRONT US AND BEHIND US MEH????? I QUEUE FOR TWO HOURS YOU THINK I WILL LET YOU CUT MY QUEUE AR?!

STUPID!!! STUPID!!!!!!! BAKA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll NEVER forget her face I tell you. I was already planning to DIAL 999 if she REFUSED to move after we told her the queue is over there.

But all was well cause she moved away.

The sight of the donuts totally calmed me down. Not really lah. Cause I got really really really excited!

The donuts loooooked super good lah!!! =) But the indian lady's service was HORRIBLE!!! In Jas's words, "It was as if the WHOLE WORLD OWED HER MONEY!!!!!"

Poor jas, she got the indian lady to serve her. The guys behind us were super funny. They brought along a PSP to kill time. And some parts of their conversation was super funny lah!

"You know hor, my friend's ex keep 烦-ing him. Miss call him 97 times yesterday."

!!!!!!!

97 times leh! Reminded me of Viv miss-calling her project group mate 10 times in an hour cause she wasn't there.

Oh yeah, Jas, the cheese tartar wasn't that nice.

DOUBLE CHOCOLATE TOTALLY RAWKS!!!!!

After 2 hours of queuing, these were what I got. =)



Aren't the donuts really really pretty??? =) They ARE MY PRECIOUS DONUTS LAH!

I was super afraid that someone would steal them away from me. They are 2 hours worth of hard work ok. =) But it wasn't that hard lah. Cause I had great company! =) The next time we queue, I'll just get 2 dozens of Double Chocolate. =)

Did I mention that the dudes in front of Jas and me had a LIST OF WHAT THEY WANTED TO GET? o.0

Jas and I were like super unprepared and disorganized.

=P
