love.
was reading this interesting blog that eileen introduced to me. it is controversial. but it got me thinking.
LOVE.is there really such a thing called love? look at how pre-occcupied everyone is with themselves? they dont seem to have the time for loved ones. kids are either studying, playing games or simply hanging out with friends. i've never really heard anyone say, "hey, i'm gonna HANG OUT with my family this weekend." there are the occassional family outings or going to relatives house to have fun. BUT hanging out with family is something that i have not yet heard.
ok. back to the topic on LOVE. love transcends all boundaries ar? LOVE. some pple believe that love is only present for the first 5 years. after that, everything is just a simple habit. a routine that we all follow. what if we never find true love?
what if the "love" that all of us are hoping to recieve is just a rosy picture painted by the media. the media has certainly influenced our lives, be it to a large extent or small one. BUT. we cannot help it but allow our minds to run wild when we are exposed to the many different things that media brings forth to us.
love. wad is love? is it that yr heart beats extremely fast when u see someone? or is it when u feel extremely comfortable when u are just simply with that person? is it when the 2 of u feel as a one? or is it just simply enjoying each other's pressence. love is so profound, has so many feelings that we can no longer know what is love.
sometimes i feel that the more we want to define someting, the harder it gets. so many we shld just leave it as it is, and not argue any further about it.
love is complex. however we tend to forget that we as humans, homosepians, are complex creatures as well.
