taipei!!!
i'm at my uncle's house while i am typing this using my uncle's labtop. i think i will blog about my trip to taipei!!!!
I LOVE TAIPEI!!! its a wonderful place! i finally understand how can viv like or love hk tat much! i absolutely love taipei! the food. the culture. the buildings. the weather. the streets. the people!!! MY GOODNESS. even the ugliest person is handsome! let me analyse why is that so for all of U!
i realised that alot of people in taiwan care alot about their grooming, appearances and etc. so the girls there are really slim. i felt like a
plumpkin there. get it? PLUMPKIN(pumpkin)... haa. my sis taught me that! and they feel tat when they go out, they must put on some make-up cause they feel that that would make them look more presentable. MY GOODNESS! the people there have a great sense of fashion. but i realised that i was too FAT for any of their clothes. T_T i've decided to only eat breakfast and dinner now. skipping lunch and just eating a light dinner. hopefully i'll be able to stick to that regime. but then again, i'm such a food lover! MAN! i really need lots of restraint when i feel the urge to pop a
small little donut or sweet into my mouth. back to the people. my goodness! they are so nice! and friendly. and even the ugliest guy was handsome. coz they really went to do their hair, wear nice clothes and they have nice bAGS! my goodness. just looking at their hair was a real eye opener. i didnt know guys could style their hair in that way. hehe. so COOL LAH!
anyways. on to the next thing. FOOD!!!! the food in taipei is REALLY GOOD! my goodness. hokkien food is so for me. coz its all fatty food. the OIL. the LARD. my FAVOURITE! my goodness. i didnt know what i missed fatty and oily food tat much! i ate so much. i feel like a pig now. but then again, we walked alot too. so my ankles and knees were hurting like crazy at the end of each day. we went to many of the night markets in taipei.
shilin, tong hua jie, huaxi jie. thats just to name a few. huaxi jie is the night mkt that allows u to see snakes! the people there eat snakes, soak them in chinese wine or some stuff like that. i got to see snakes in cages and that night market is really near the red light district so there were many adult shops. my goodness. i think there were alot more adult shops there then in the whole of singapore. MY GOODNESS! i'm sure viv would love that place. haha. anyways. shilin is where all the youngsters enjoy the night. the food there is amazing. my goodness the fried chicken chop is WONDERFUL! the seasoning there was just right. not too much and not too little. the chicken chop was HUGE! so much larger then those sold in singapore at the taiwan shop called shilin night snacks or something. hehe. and the smelly tofu... MY GOODNESS!!! SO NICE! then they had the ai yu dessert. the mister donuts. the taiwan sausages. hehe. ^^ SO NICE!
ok. from here on. is me typing from home on Christmas nite. OK ALL OF U... MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! i managed to msg almost everyone in my hp contact list. hehe. but i couldnt msg all rite. coz that would over 200 msges. anyways. i'm pretty sure all of u have alot more frens then me! i sent out about 100 msges. hehe. but then its ok! coz i was in taipei for 6 days! back to taipei! i finally saw cousins and relatives there that i haven seen for 15 years! the last time i went there was in 1990. yeah! and i got a really cute taiwan cousin. SO CUTE LAH! he has this studious and really cute look. hehe. like that then cute mah.
GO NERDY GO! GO NERDY GO! haha
anyways. i have 3 female cousins. one of them is called... SUNNY. can u believe it? its so coincidental. haha. the world is so small hor. and i think she had the name since she was born. haha. so cute! anyways. i really love taipei lah. taipei 101. the people. the scenery. the FOOD. the transportation. the entertainment scene. the night life. EVERYTHING! its pERFECT!
and guess what.. i saw wang lee hom LIVE!!!! and i waited for 2 hours in the cold just to see him sing and do his thing! SO CUTE. so handsome. when he came out, i naturally smiled. smiled and smiled. hehe. and i was in the front row! MY GOODNESS!!!! so cute. my papa took video somemore. hehe. it was this performance to showcase and introduce his new album. and his zhu da ge. hehe. SO HANDSOME!!!! ok lah. i think u all get the idea that he is really handsome! HANDSOME LAH!
i did some shopping. and bought the blue nail polish that i am wearing now! and i also bought the really CUTE stickers to stick on the nails. so that i wont look so scary with blue coloured nails. hehe. ok lah. i want to sleep le. been really busy since i came back from taipei. shall blog more about the recent events. such as Christmas!
