i cant. i just cant.
heyA! i just couldnt resist the temptations of blogging yeah. so on this early morning, i've come here to blog. was reading the newspaper when i saw this entire PAGE in LIFE that was dedicated to the Hakka trail. WOOHOO!!! someday, i must bring my papa there. and let him savour all the wonderfully original hakka dishes. and not the pesudo ones in singapore that he always complains about. ^^ coz i also want to savour them. YUP!
i'm a hakka and proud of it. BUT then again, there are some dark sides to being one too.
sigh~ life is cruel isnt it? it seems as though it was yesterday that i knew how to speak hakka. and i lost it just with a snap of the finger! man~ but then again, the hakka traits are still pretty much evident in me hor. hahaha. resilience, pragmatism and hardworkingness. if there's such a word as hardworkingness. anyways. maybe not so much of resilience yeah. BUT count me in on being pragmatic at times. hehe. i mean, according to my papa, hakka people used to live up in the mountains or those really really cold climates thats why they always had those "3layer" pork in their dishes. u know the one where they cook the mei chai? with the "3layer" pork. YEAH! thats a hakka dish. and because of that cold climate, they had to work really hard and were all brought up to be resilient. WOOHOO!! i shld write this in my resume in future yeah?! hahahaha. but then again, i'm not so sure if i want to be a teacher. the world seems so big now.
maybe i'll work in the UN and be able to travel ard and help people. not to mention, get first hand experiences too! hahaha. i just love travelling mah. cant help it. ITS INBORN! hehe. dont ask me to walk ard amusement parks. but i can find my way back to the orginal place when i'm walking. but i think neo mei more power! hey. maybe neo mei and me can go work in the UN some other day. hahahaha. my papa taught me how to walk ard without getting lost le. hahaha. so power hor. ^^ anyways. gtg. BACK TO STUDYING!
